Excursion Cancellation Policy
1. Prepayment terms
Guests of Venesuela.pro can book most excursions without prepayment.
Prepayment is required in the following cases:
- the group is larger than 3 people;
- the total amount of the booked programs exceeds 300 dollars;
- the excursion is run by a supplier company (partner) that requires 100% prepayment;
- packages of 2 excursions.
With the exception of excursions that require 100% prepayment, the prepayment amount is 30% of the total cost of the excursion programs.
The following excursion programs require 100% prepayment:
Dolphins (any program), Helicopters (any program) and other supplier excursions (that is, those excursions that our company runs through partner companies).
2. Excursion cancellation rules and refund terms
If excursion programs are cancelled 72 hours (three days) in advance, the prepayment is refunded in full (that is, the entire prepayment is returned).
If excursion programs are cancelled less than 72 hours (three days) in advance, the company reserves the right to retain a penalty equal to the prepayment made (that is, up to 30% of the cost of the programs).
If excursion programs are cancelled due to illness and a supporting document is presented (for example, a medical certificate), the prepayment is refunded in full (that is, the entire prepayment is returned).
3. Changing excursion dates
The date of the excursion can be changed by agreement with the guests. The reasons for the change may be related to force majeure circumstances (bad weather, natural disasters, strikes or other force majeure circumstances). National holidays or other circumstances beyond the company's control may also be a reason for the change.
If the guests do not agree to the change of date, the prepayment is refunded in full (100%).
4. Refund terms
The refund is made within 48 hours of receiving the request. Guests are invited to fill in the refund form (in electronic format) and send it to the email [email protected]. The subject of the message must state "Refund for an excursion not taken".
